It all started with a dream of creating a mountain biking event that would take participants from the lush, green forests in the Garden Route, through the Klein Karoo, Overberg region, and then finish the journey in South Africa’s picturesque Winelands.
The TransCape MTB race is that dream, a 6-day stage race that takes riders across beautiful scenery starting at the Redberry Farm in George and finishing at Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate in Botrivier. Riders will be provided with luxury accommodation, three meals a day, and all the support a Mountain Biker can wish for.
TransCape takes the rider over a staggering distance of 550km in just 6 days. Feed your adventurous side with this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, only allowing 100 participants. Enter as a team of two or as a solo rider. E-bikes welcome!
We know there are plenty of “better halves” out there that would love to join in the journey and support you all the way. A spouse package will be available for the 2023 event. The package will include accommodation, all meals, access to the chill zone, and evening functions. Please note that there are only 20 spots available.
