It all started with a dream of creating a mountain biking event that would take participants from the lush\, green forests in the Garden Route\, through the Klein Karoo\, Overberg region\, and then f inish the journey in South Africa’s picturesque Winelands.
The Tra nsCape MTB race is that dream\, a 6-day stage race that takes riders acros s beautiful scenery starting at the Redberry Farm in George and finishing at Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate in Botrivier. Riders will be provided with luxury accommodation\, three meals a d ay\, and all the support a Mountain Biker can wish for.
TransCape takes the rider over a staggering distance of 550km in just 6 days. Feed y our adventurous side with this once-in-a-lifetime adventure\, only allowin g 100 participants. Enter as a team of two or as a solo rider. E-bikes welcome!
We know there are plenty of “better halves” out there that would love to join in the journey and support you all the way. A spouse package will be available for the 2023 even t. The package will include accommodation\, all meals\, access t o the chill zone\, and evening functions. Please note that there are only 20 spots available.
